At Axe House Sports we believe that athletics has the ability to teach lifelong skills that players will use both on the field and off. From athletic abilities like balance and strength to interpersonal skills like teamwork and communication, the positive benefits that sports provide is undeniable. Our mission is to provide a fun, engaging environment where players of all capabilities can learn these skills while creating a life long love of the game.

About Our Founder

Hello! My name is Amanda Axelson and I am the owner and operator of Axe House Sports. As a former premier and college soccer coach and a mom of three boys I've envisioned running my own sports-based business for a long time. Having left my coaching career behind when we moved to Herriman in Spring of 2022 I thought I had put those dreams to rest. However, being a stay at home mom left me itching to get back on the pitch. Don't get me wrong - I LOVE being with my boys! But there's something about being on the field and working with a bunch of crazy kids that has always been good for my soul. Thus Axe House Sports was born!

Whether you are looking for a fun activity for your youngster to work out some energy, have a player looking to push to the next level, or you and your student-athlete need some guidance on how to navigate the college recruiting process, I am confident Axe House Sports can provide the environment and resources you are looking for.
