Meet our Coaches

Amanda Axelson,
Founder & CEO at Axe House Sports

Coach Amanda brings an impressive resume to the table. As a player she garnered numerous individual and team awards including Washington State 2A Player of the Year, All-West Region Honors, ODP West Regional Champion, 2x Club State Champion, and NCAA DII National Champion.

As a coach, Amanda spent a decade coaching competitively at the club and high school level in Washington state and served seven years on staff with the Seattle Pacific University Women's Soccer Team. Amanda aims to impart her knowledge of the game and the mentality needed to make it to the next level into each player she trains. As a certified personal trainer she designs her sessions to help young players improve their technical ability while simultaneously improving power, speed & agility.

Ryan Mitchell,
Founder of Edge Training

Ryan grew up in Seattle, WA where he excelled at both club and ODP. He spent time playing in Europe as a teenager where he put his skills to the test and developed an adept nose for the goal. He started all four years at Issaquah High School which lead to an impressive collegiate career, becoming the leading scorer at Sacramento State (DI) four years in a row. After college Ryan played professionally before transitioning into the role of coach. He now has over 28 years of coaching experience working at the high school, club & ODP levels and has played a pivotal role in developing numerous players who have gone on to play NCAA DI/II/III and professional soccer.

Mondays @ 5pm - 6-9yrs Advanced
Mondays @ 6pm - 6-9 yrs Beginners
Fridays @ 4:30pm - 9-13 yrs Advanced
